Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (UEIP) Call for Application
The Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (UEIP) is a program specifically designed for undergraduate entrepreneurs in Nigerian tertiary institutions. It is an extension of our SEEDINVEST Acceleration Program and aims to empower proactive undergraduates who are willing to start their own businesses while still in school.
UEIP offers entrepreneurial training, asset support, and advisory services to undergraduate entrepreneurs from various tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The program is designed to help them improve their business operations and ensure their long-term sustainability.
By providing these resources, UEIP not only enhances the capabilities of these young entrepreneurs but also enables them to create job opportunities for themselves and others.
Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (UEIP) eligibility
- Before applying to UEIP, it is important to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions.
- To be eligible, applicants must be undergraduate entrepreneurs studying at any tertiary institution in Nigeria and possess a valid ID card or admission letter.
- Postgraduate or Master’s students are not eligible for this program.
- Additionally, the business must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and have been operational for a minimum of six months.
- Applicants are required to have a one-year business plan and a business account with any commercial bank in Nigeria. Furthermore, the business address must be verifiable.
- Please ensure that you meet all the requirements before submitting your application.
Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (UEIP) Ground Rules
1. Create a 60-second Business Pitch where you introduce yourself, explain your business, highlight the impact it has had in your community, and convince us why you should be selected for the programme.
2. Post your Business Pitch on your Instagram Business handle, not your personal page. Make sure to invite/tag @biodunandibikunle as a collaborator. Refer to the pictures in the slides for guidance.
3. Fill out the application form by clicking on the button below and submit it. Completing the Business Pitch and Application forms are mandatory steps that you must fulfill.
4. Our team will review your application and pitch. If you are successful, you will proceed to the voting rounds and receive an Instagram DM to notify you.
Please ensure that your pitch voice is clear and the video is shot in your work environment. Do not include any background music in the video.
5. Voting will take place on our Foundation’s Instagram page and YouTube handle. Before submitting your applications/pitch, make sure to follow our IG account @Biodunandibikunle and subscribe to our YouTube channel (@biodunandibikunle).
6. Once your application is approved, your business pitch will be reposted on the Foundation’s YouTube channel. After that, your invitation on Instagram will be accepted for voting within 24-48 hours.
7. Your voters (friends, customers, family members, etc.) should follow @biodunandibikunle on Instagram and subscribe to our YouTube channel for their votes to be counted.
8. Vote buying is strongly discouraged. If the Foundation discovers any instances of vote buying, you will be disqualified.
9. Successful applicants must actively engage their voters both on and off our platform to secure votes (likes). Engagements will be monitored and tracked.
