Now Accepting Applications: HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator 2024 ($100,000 investment)

The HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator, in partnership with gener8tor, provides funding of up to $100K to ten high-growth startups annually, with cohorts of five, that are leading the way in agricultural innovation. This program takes place in person in Huntsville, AL (also known as Rocket City) and is conveniently located near NASA’s headquarters.

By combining HudsonAlpha’s expertise in agriscience, including agriculture genomics, plant breeding, and crop diversity, with gener8tor’s extensive network of mentors and investors, as well as Huntsville’s reputation as a technology hub, this program supports startups that are addressing the challenges of sustainably feeding and powering a growing global population.

Startups from any part of the world are encouraged to apply, regardless of their specific focus within the agricultural sector. Successful applicants will receive a $100K cash investment, office space, and the opportunity to connect with gener8tor’s mentors and investors worldwide.

Investment

Chosen teams will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity in your company using a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE).

Cohort Programming

Every week, there will be cohort programming sessions covering various topics such as understanding market size, selecting a revenue model, and mastering the art of pitching to investors.

Exciting deals and perks await from renowned vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot, and Microsoft.

Mentorship, Coaching & One-on-One Meetings

Over the course of twelve weeks, participants will receive personalized coaching and mentorship from the gener8tor team through bi-weekly, one-on-one meetings. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to meet with over 100 connections, including serial entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors.

As part of the HudsonAlpha ecosystem, participants will have access to cutting-edge facilities spread across the 152-acre biotech campus. This will provide companies with the chance to connect and collaborate with HudsonAlpha scientists.
