In the position of Grant Writer At myAgro, you will be responsible for crafting letters of interest, proposals, reports, and materials for donor engagement. Your main focus will be on transforming written deliverables for small-to-midsize grants from the initial concept to the final draft stage. This role presents a great opportunity to contribute to a social impact organization that has a proven concept and is now scaling up. The role is remote and reports to the Manager of Development Operations and Grants.

Key Responsibilities: Grant Writer At myAgro

– Develop funding proposals based on approved concept notes, collaborating internally with various teams to gather necessary information.
– Produce draft reports, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and deadlines.
– Assist in donor due diligence processes by organizing existing resources and creating new content as needed.
– Aid in content creation for quarterly and annual organizational reports in partnership with the Development Operations and Grants Manager and Development Operations Associate.
– Ensure that draft deliverables are finalized at least two weeks before deadlines for review, and make necessary updates/edits for approval.
– Conduct research on potential new donors to expand partnerships.
– Work closely with the development team to further our mission and vision.
– Perform any other duties as may be required

Qualifications: Grant Writer At myAgro,

– 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or business development.
– Experience in grant and report writing or editing.
– Demonstrated skills in synthesizing and presenting complex information to various audiences.
– Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional languages, especially French, is a bonus.
– Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
