The global initiative of Fondation Tutator, known as Tutator Forward, provides tailored software solutions to organizations that are fostering social or environmental change. Instead of offering financial support, this distinctive grant supplies customized software applications aimed at assisting NGOs and social enterprises in improving their operational efficiency, enhancing beneficiary management, and broadening their impact.

The Tutator Forward program emphasizes software solutions that specifically aid in program and beneficiary management, as opposed to administrative tasks such as human resources, accounting, or general customer relationship management systems.

Legal Access: Platforms designed for paralegal training, case management, and remote legal assistance.
Youth Development: Systems that connect young individuals with educational and employment opportunities while tracking their progress.

Grant Value – Tutator Forward Grant
Recipients are provided with tailored software developed on Tutator’s Beneficiary Management Platform (BMP), which guarantees scalability and effectiveness. Although the scope of projects can differ, they generally encompass between 5,000 and 20,000 hours of specialized development, with a valuation ranging from $75,000 to $1,000,000 USD.
What grantees are required to provide
Active Participation
Selected organizations are anticipated to engage actively in the development process, committing a minimum of 3 to 5 hours each week to the following tasks:
Defining requirements, conducting tests, and offering feedback.
Coordinating internal initiatives, which include training and adoption activities.
Overseeing internal communication to guarantee seamless collaboration throughout the project.
Required Team Roles
Organizations are required to designate individuals to fulfill the following essential roles:
Team Leader: The main point of contact responsible for ensuring team engagement.
System Administrator: Tasked with server setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
First-Level Support: Addresses basic technical issues (this role can be part-time or shared).
IT Infrastructure
Organizations must supply the necessary IT infrastructure, which includes servers, computers, and network access.
Sustainability Plan
Grantees will be required to develop a strategy for sustaining the software once Tutator’s support period concludes.
Implementation Timeline (4-12 months)
Requirements Analysis: Engaging stakeholders collaboratively to establish system specifications
Development and Testing: A process of iterative construction accompanied by refinement based on feedback
Training: Provision of comprehensive materials and a train-the-trainer methodology to facilitate seamless adoption
Deployment: Complete system launch
Support: Provision of six months of second-level technical support and issue resolution following the launch
