Apply: Cherie Blair Foundation Mentoring Women in Business Programme
The application process is now open for the 2025 Cherie Blair Foundation Mentoring Women in Business Programme. This initiative connects women entrepreneurs from low and middle-income countries with seasoned, committed professional mentors from around the globe. Over the course of one year, participants will be paired with a mentor who will assist them in reaching their business objectives while enhancing their financial stability and security.
Application Criteria – Cherie Blair Foundation Mentoring Women in Business Programme
To qualify as a mentee, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Be a woman residing in a low or middle-income country.
– Be the owner of a business (holding at least 51% ownership or decision-making authority) or planning to launch a business within the next three months.
– Possess intermediate or higher proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
– Be able to commit to the programme for a duration of twelve months.
– Have access to the internet and be available to meet with their mentor online for a minimum of two hours each month.
– Complete several feedback questionnaires by the specified deadlines.
– Be willing to collaborate with a mentor to enhance their business acumen and personal development skills.
– Ideally, be nominated by one of our local mentee referral partners.
Mentees are required to:
Engage in online meetings with their mentor for a minimum of two hours each month over the course of one year.
Take the initiative in guiding the mentoring relationship and determining its focus.
Participate in approximately 1.5 hours of training prior to being matched.
Complete both interim and final surveys related to the program.
Establish and present goals to be addressed with their mentor.
Comply with the Code of Conduct of our Mentoring Women in Business programme.

There are two methods to join the programme as a mentee:
1. As an affiliate of one of our mentee referral partners in your local area (this is highly recommended) – locate a partner here.
2. As an independent mentee, should there be no organizations available for affiliation. (Please be aware that if you are not associated with one of our mentee referral partners, your application may not be prioritized.)
If you fulfill the selection criteria but are not applying during our designated application period, kindly complete the form above to indicate your interest in becoming a mentee. We will reach out to you when we are next accepting applications for the programme.
