Applications open for the Technovation AI Ventures Accelerator Program
Applications are officially open for the 2025 Technovation AI Ventures Accelerator Program, a transformative initiative designed to empower young women to become the next generation of tech innovators and AI entrepreneurs. The AI Ventures Accelerator, launched by Technovation in partnership with Generation Unlimited, offers a free 12-week accelerator that helps participants move from idea to investor-ready startup. Teams stand the chance to win up to $10,000 in equity-free seed funding to bring their AI-driven solutions to life.
The program welcomes participants with or without prior experience in artificial intelligence or coding — all you need is creativity, determination, and a passion for solving real-world problems. While solo founders are welcome, teams of two to four young women are strongly encouraged to apply, as diverse teams often bring together complementary skills in technology, design, and business strategy. Ideal applicants include students, recent graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs, and anyone with a strong interest in using AI for social impact and innovation.
The AI Ventures Accelerator aims to jumpstart tech-based ventures led by young women aged 19 to 24 who are passionate about entrepreneurship and technology. The 2026 cohort is open to participants currently residing in India, Nigeria, Mexico, and the United States, with a special focus on supporting women innovators in Nigeria who are building AI-powered businesses that address local and global challenges.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants should:
- Be young women aged 19–24 (teams of 2–4 preferred, but solo founders are also eligible).
- Have an innovative idea or problem they want to solve using AI.
- Be able to commit 10–15 hours per week for the 12-week accelerator.
- Reside in India, Nigeria, Mexico, or the United States.
- Have a strong interest in technology, entrepreneurship, and social innovation.
Program Overview
Over the course of 12 immersive weeks, participants will develop the technical expertise and business acumen required to design, build, and scale an AI-based startup. The curriculum combines hands-on training, expert mentorship, and peer collaboration to guide participants from concept to launch.
1. Build an AI Venture
Learn the fundamentals of AI, machine learning, and human-centered design while building your first product prototype. Participants will use Generative AI tools for product development, curate datasets, train AI models, and create web or mobile applications that address real community problems.
2. Expert Guidance and Pitch Preparation
Gain one-on-one mentorship from leading entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and tech professionals. You’ll refine your business strategy, strengthen your storytelling, and master the art of pitching to investors. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a full investor-ready pitch deck and a working AI prototype.
3. Seed Funding and Demo Day
The Top 10 teams will receive $10,000 each in equity-free seed funding — a total of $100,000 awarded to emerging AI ventures. Finalists will showcase their startups at Demo Day in October 2026, pitching their solutions live to investors, partners, and the global tech community.
