Eligibility – Student-Driven Ventures Only

- For for-profit entities: Student members must collectively hold ≥50% of equity and voting rights at formation.
- For non-profit entities: Students must control ≥50% of board voting authority.
- All team members must have active management and ownership roles—no passive or advisory-only positions.
- Ventures cannot be embedded within existing companies or corporate spin-outs.
- Teams do not need to be incorporated at the application stage, but winners must incorporate (U.S. or international) to receive funds. Early incorporation is strongly recommended to avoid delays.
- International teams are welcome; however, non-U.S. recipients may incur minor processing fees for prize disbursement.
