Eligibility Criteria – The Bank of America Global Markets Off-cycle Analyst program

Candidates must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program at an accredited institution, with an expected graduation date between April 2025 and June 2026, or be recent graduates eligible for positions commencing in September 2025. Applicants should have attained a minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and be on track to achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). Availability to join the program is required at any time from January to December 2025.

As an off-cycle analyst, your primary tasks and responsibilities may encompass, but are not limited to:

Sales

Assisting the sales team in their daily operations
Gaining insights into client relationship management
Creating marketing materials and preparing client presentations
Investigating sales opportunities through market and company analysis
Conducting analytical projects related to client profitability and market trends.

Trading

Assisting traders in their daily operations
Observing experienced team members and engaging in simulated trading to gain practical knowledge of fundamental risk management and market-making principles
Evaluating client and market data to facilitate the development and execution of trades
Monitoring and assessing macroeconomic and company-specific events as they occur in real time, while predicting future trends and outcomes.

Structuring

Aiding senior structurers, traders, and the sales team within Global Markets in their daily tasks to maximize exposure to all of Global Markets’ clients and products. This may involve creating a pitchbook for client meetings or analyzing, designing, and promoting new client solutions.
Acquiring comprehensive exposure to Global Markets transactions, which includes client relationship management with Sales and risk management and pricing with Trading.
Contributing to the analytical framework of Global Markets by delivering projects focused on current themes across various asset classes (Equities, Rates, FX, and Credit) in collaboration with other essential business stakeholders such as Quants or Research.
Tracking and evaluating macroeconomic, market, and industry-specific events as they happen in real time, while offering solutions to a wide range of institutional clients.
