The 2025 Hurford Youth Fellowship Program is NOW OPEN

The 2025 Hurford Youth Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. This program aims to develop the leadership skills and tap into the potential of young activists who are passionate about democracy from all over the globe.

During the three-month Fellowship program, youth activists will have the opportunity to broaden their global network, learn from fellow activists involved in democracy movements worldwide, and contribute to the growth of the World Movement for Democracy. Fellows will be expected to organize online discussions to foster active engagement among youth activists globally.

Hurford Youth Fellows will participate in strategic meetings, conduct research, and organize and lead presentations and information-sharing sessions on specific areas outlined in the “What’s Next? Youth Declaration,” including expanding civic space for young people, countering disinformation, building citizen-centric accountability, and delivering democracy.

Upon successful completion of each fellowship, the fellows will become regional/country focal points. They will work with the Hurford Youth Fellowship Alumni Network to stay engaged and take the lead in youth-related activities.
