Recruitment into Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) opens
This is a recruitment announcement by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB recruitment) for various positions in Nigerian paramilitary agencies.
CDCFIB Recruitment Scope:
Applications are sought for positions within the
- 1. Nigerian Correctional Service,
- 2. the Nigerian Immigration Service,
- 3. the Federal Fire Service, and
- 4. the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
CDCFIB Recruitment Application Process:

Key Requirements:
- •Applicants must be Nigerian by birth,
- •Possess requisite qualifications,
- •Be physically and mentally fit,
- •Be of good character, and
- •Meet specific age (18-35 years) and height requirements (1.65m for males, 1.60m for females).
CDCFIB Recruitment Important Note:
- Candidates can only apply to one of the four paramilitary agencies; submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification
- The recruitment spans three major categories, Superintendent Cadre, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre, with multiple roles open under each category.
- Under the Superintendent Cadre (General Duty), the positions are Superintendent of Corrections (CONPASS 09): Available only in the NCoS, this position is for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery, Assistant Superintendent I (CONPASS 09): Open exclusively in the FFS for candidates with degrees in Engineering or Law and Assistant Superintendent II (CONPASS 08): Available across all four agencies for Bachelor’s or HND holders in any discipline
- Positions under the Inspectorate Cadre include Senior Inspector of Fire (CONPASS 08): Open to registered Nurses, Midwives, or Nurse-Midwives. This role is available in the NSCDC, FFS, and NCoS and Inspector of Fire (CONPASS 07): For candidates with NCE or National Diplomas in relevant fields.
- For Assistant Cadre, positions include, Assistant III (CONPASS 03): Targets SSCE holders with a minimum of five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.. Drivers, Artisans, and Mechanics: Must possess Trade Test certificates and valid licenses.
