The findings from the Wimbart first report indicated that approximately one-third of investors in startups do not receive regular updates from their portfolio companies, leading to investor dissatisfaction and potentially obstructing future funding opportunities. This year’s edition aims to expand upon these insights by gathering new perspectives from startup founders, with the goal of monitoring progress and mapping a path toward enhanced reporting practices within Africa’s technology landscape.
With the support of key industry stakeholders such as Afrilabs, TLP Advisory, TechCabal, Ventures Platform, and London Africa Network, Wimbart encourages all startup founders and investors operating in the African tech sector to contribute their experiences.
