Now Open: IITA/Netherlands sponsored Youth in Agribusiness (YAS) project
IITA in collaboration with Bopinc and the Dutch Embassy aims to equip young individuals aged 18 to 35 with the necessary entrepreneurial skills to either expand their existing agribusiness enterprises or venture into agribusiness. Youth in Agribusiness: Enabling scaling of innovative technologies for sustainable food solutions (YAS), a project implemented by IITA, is now accepting applications for the 2024 training cohorts in agribusiness in Oyo, Ogun, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Eligibility:
- This opportunity is open to young individuals who are interested in exploring and entering the field of agribusiness (incubators), as well as those who already have existing agribusiness enterprises but require additional skills to expand and grow their businesses (accelerators).
- This call is for youths in Oyo, Ogun, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Benefits:
Participants will receive training in the value chains Yam, Poultry, Cassava, Maize, Soybean, Horticulture, Groundnut and Aquaculture
