The MTN Foundation is now accepting applications for the 7th Phase of the MTN ICT and Business Skills Training program for Abuja (FCT), Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto, and Taraba States, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerian entrepreneurs with essential tech and business skills to enhance their micro businesses.
MTN ICT and Business Skills Training program Highlights
- Target Audience: Nigerian youth aged 18–35 who own and manage a micro business that has been in operation for no longer than 2 years.
- Eligible States: Abuja (FCT), Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto, and Taraba.
- Training Format: A 5-week blended learning program combining:
- Self-paced online modules
- Instructor-led sessions
- Masterclasses from industry experts
- Data Support: Participants will receive data support to ensure seamless access to online training materials.
- Equipment Grants: The top 600 participants will be awarded an Equipment Grant totaling ₦300,000,000 to support business growth.
Eligibility Criteria for the ICT and Business Skills Training program
- Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Business Ownership: Own and manage a micro business that has been in operation for no longer than 2 years.
- Location: Business must be located in one of the following states: Abuja (FCT), Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto, or Taraba.
