Role Summary: Program Manager, Education at PISTIS Foundation

The Education Program Manager (PM) will collaborate effectively with other Programme Managers (PMs) to accomplish the overarching goal of PF in alignment with its Education, Shelter, and Education Initiatives. They will engage with academic institutions (primary, secondary, and tertiary), vocational training institutions, NGOs, and various stakeholders to design and execute a variety of Education interventions for the economically disadvantaged. This includes academic scholarships, teacher training, and talent development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Program Manager, Education at PISTIS Foundation

Program Development & Oversight

  • Establish and prioritize clear objectives for all Education programs
  • Ensure the successful implementation of all sub-programs within the education program
  • Achieve all Education targets and goals, consistent with the mission and vision of Pistis Foundation
  • Identify and assess program beneficiaries
  • Conduct regular impact evaluations on scholarship recipients and other Education intervention programs
  • Establish a baseline for measuring program impact in collaboration with the monitoring and evaluation team.

Requirements: Program Manager, Education at PISTIS Foundation

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Education (with at least 7 years in a managerial role).
  • Thorough understanding of project planning and financial management.
  • Outstanding skills in communication, coordination, team building, and volunteer management.
  • Proven capability to handle pressure and work across various technical domains simultaneously, while providing support and guidance to teams and staff.
  • Proficient in report writing, with a track record of strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Global awareness and proficiency in technology.
  • Knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Capability to manage diverse stakeholders, including students, educators, parents, and partners.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like Asana or Trello.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Education or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience in a non-profit organization or social enterprise is a bonus.
