Position Objective: M&E/Data Analytics Intern at Palladium Group
Palladium is currently looking for an intern specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) / Data Analytics (DA) to collaborate closely with the project’s Data Analytics and Data Use team. This collaboration aims to assist USAID’s Strategic Information (SI) team and service delivery implementing partners (IPs) in utilizing weekly PEPFAR data effectively to combat the HIV epidemic.
The M&E/Data Analytics intern will be under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Use.
Key Responsibilities: M&E/Data Analytics Intern at Palladium Group
– Assist in reviewing high-frequency reporting (HFR) data sets for weekly reporting
– Perform data validation and logic checks across reporting systems such as Data for Accountability, Transparency, and Impact Monitoring (DATIM), the National Data Repository (NDR), and HFR
– Collect and compile data at the state level
– Aid in developing analytic products to offer insights for decision-makers
– Help implement the Weekly Data Review for Rapid Action methodology at the state level and throughout different levels of hierarchy
– Collaborate with Strategic Information Advisor(s) to support IPs in overcoming barriers to data use during HFR processes and finding solutions to address these barriers
– Document best practices, data use cases, and stakeholder engagements at the state level
– Execute data quality strategies and activities at the state level and other levels of hierarchy as directed
– Assist in regular analysis and reviews of performance on key priority indicators for HIV and programs related to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC)
– Support any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications Needed: M&E/Data Analytics Intern at Palladium Group
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Outstanding abilities in building interpersonal relationships, working in multicultural environments, and fostering teamwork.
Proficiency in computer skills, especially in spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software.
Demonstrated academic excellence and high level of motivation.
Exceptional writing skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and fluency in English.
