Entries now open for the Young Environmentalist Innovative Challenge
The world is currently facing ecological threats that, if left unaddressed, could result in a global environmental crisis. It is imperative that collective solutions for environmental conservation are integrated into daily activities to ensure sustainability.
Environmental conservation champions must mobilize their communities to take action and address the challenges they face, while also improving their livelihoods and supporting access to education.
The Young Environmentalist Innovation Challenge (YEIC) is an environmental innovation fund established by KCDF through a generous gift from Mackenzie Scott. Its goal is to develop young people who are action-oriented and committed to environmental conservation. The Challenge fund is seeking submissions of innovative ideas and solutions for environmental challenges, while instilling a spirit of environmental responsibility.
