Deji Alli Young Talent Award (DAAYTA) for Young Nigerians (N12 million funding)
The Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award, in partnership with TechnoVision’s TVC Labs, is an initiative by ARM that aims to empower young Nigerians to create innovative start-ups that contribute to the country’s economic growth. The DAAYTA 2024 program is a part of ARM’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to cultivate a new generation of leaders who will work together to build a better future. The program seeks to support business ideas that have a positive impact on society while also generating financial returns.
To be considered for the award, applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria.
- They must be Nigerian citizens between the ages of 18 and 35, have an original business idea, and run a limited liability company registered in Nigeria.
- They must also be working on their start-up full-time and have a minimum viable product with customers.
- Additionally, they must be able to cover their travel expenses and other associated costs and be available for the 2-day Pitch Workshop and Final Pitch Event in April 2024.
- Finally, they must have a good understanding of ARM’s business and be willing to represent the company as an Ambassador.
Prizes
- The Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award 2024 offers a fantastic opportunity for young Nigerian graduates and undergraduates to bring their innovative ideas to life.
- The winner of the program will receive funding of ₦12,000,000 over a one-year period, subject to the Terms & Conditions.
- This funding can be used for working capital, participation in an entrepreneurial education program at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, and a 5-month acceleration support service for the development of their venture by TVC Labs.
- The program is focused on Agriculture, Education, Healthcare, Housing, and Transportation.
