Closing soon: SBN Nourish Nigeria Challenge NutriPitch 2023

SBN, the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network, has announced that it will be hosting the 2023 edition of its annual pitch competition in partnership with FATE Foundation, the longest-running enterprise support organization with over 22 years of experience in delivering pre-incubation, incubation, and accelerator programs.

This project is part of a larger program grant of EUR80m that is focused on six African countries, namely Benin, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Uganda, and is aimed at conducting business model research. The partnership aims to identify innovative business models that can accelerate low-income consumers’ access to nutritious food while still being profitable.

The project will also provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs in the nutrition space to strengthen their capacity and develop their business models, leveraging innovation to improve access to nutritious foods in Nigeria.

  • Applicants
    • Should be a Nigerian citizen male or female are accepted
    • Must be between the age bracket of 25 – 50 by January 2024.
    • Must be a Founder, Owner manager, or CEO of a growth stage agribusiness company.
    • Must have their Agribusiness focused on Nutrition and Innovation.
    • Must have a good business model with focuses on reaching low income households.
    • Must have a unique and innovative marketing strategy.
    • Must have at least three full time highly skilled staff in management capacity
    • should have their venture registered with the CAC and be generating income.
    • should be available to take part in the FULL-TIME one week boot camp and other activities required throughout the program.
