Apply for the Ashoka/Schneider Electric Foundation Youth Innovation For A Sustainable Future Program For Young Emerging Leaders
On the 25th anniversary of the Schneider Electric Foundation, Ashoka and Schneider Electric Foundation, in partnership with Fondation de France, are excited to introduce a new call for projects in 2024 Ashoka/Schneider Electric Foundation Youth Innovation For A Sustainable Future Program For Young Emerging Leaders. This initiative aims to empower young individuals to lead the Just Transition and sustainable future worldwide. The program, titled “Youth Innovation for Sustainable Tomorrow,” seeks to identify and support social innovations that contribute to the Just Transition.
Eligibility for the Ashoka/Schneider Electric Foundation Youth Innovation For A Sustainable Future Program For Young Emerging Leaders
- This call for projects is open to applicants from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Interested individuals must align with at least three out of five priorities of the CFP, which include Just Transition, awareness and inclusion, professional training in energy management, entrepreneurship, and gender.
Prizes: Ashoka/Schneider Electric Foundation Youth Innovation For A Sustainable Future Program For Young Emerging Leaders
- The program will award prizes to the best projects in each continent.
- The first-place winner will receive 30,000 euros,
- The second-place 20,000 euros,
- The third and fourth place 10,000 euros each, and
- The fifth place 5,000 euros.
- Additionally, projects will have the chance to compete for an “Audience Prize” chosen by Schneider employees, with a 2,000 euros reward.
- Furthermore, one project out of the 25 selected will be named the “Youth Innovation Champion” and receive a total prize of 50,000 euros at COP29 in November 2024.
- Selected projects will also gain visibility through social media channels of both SEF and Ashoka countries. The timeline for the program is as follows:
