Applications open for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship

The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), which operates the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), is inviting applications from qualified Nigerian students for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to foster academic excellence and enhance the skills of young Nigerians. It offers a yearly grant to successful candidates throughout their undergraduate degree programme.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship?

• This scholarship, which is based on merit, is divided into two categories: the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.
• National Merit Award (NM) – Available to all Nigerians.
  Areas of Operation Merit Award – Available to Nigerians who are residents of Renaissance’s operational regions in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship

• Must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Must be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.
• Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry, national or international.
• Evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate programme in the 2023/2024 academic session

Note:

• RENAISSANCE and Its Joint Venture partners DO not demand payment from applicants.  The application is entirely FREE of charge.
• RENAISSANCE and its Joint Venture partners DO not assign ‘Representatives’/ ‘Agents’ to assist applicants or facilitate the application process.
• Applications open on the 20th of June 2025 and close on the 25th of July 2025.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the proctored computer-based test.
• Only successful candidates at each selection stage will be contacted.
• Applications must be processed ONLY through the Renaissance African Energy Company website.

3. 3.      Applicants for the Operational Area Awards are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:
   1. • The Paramount Ruler of the Community, and
      • The Chairperson of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC)
   2. The letters should be addressed to: The Manager, Social Performance, Renaissance African Energy Company Limited, Industrial Area, Rumubiakani, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

   Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px)

    Each document attachment to the application must not exceed 200KB, and the image format must be in JPEG
