Applications Open for the African Women in Processing Forum
Applications are currently open for the African Women in Processing Forum. The African Union Commission is calling for applications from African women entrepreneurs to take part in the African Women in Processing (AWIP) Forum. This significant event will occur alongside the Fourth Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) in Algiers, Algeria, from September 4th to 10th, 2025.
This forum offers a distinctive opportunity for African women engaged in value-added processing to present their businesses at Africa’s largest trade fair, which underscores the significance of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

• Businesses that present innovative products, processes, or technologies, and those that significantly enhance local resources, will be given priority.
• A proven willingness to network, collaborate, and share best practices with other women entrepreneurs and stakeholders during and after the IATF.
