Applications open for the 2024 Yves Rocher Foundation Photo Prize

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Yves Rocher Foundation Photo Prize. This prestigious prize, in collaboration with Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan, offers the opportunity to receive a grant of €8,000. Furthermore, the selected work will be exhibited at the Festival Photo La Gacilly and showcased at the renowned International Festival of Photojournalism “VISA POUR L’IMAGE – Perpignan”.

Eligibility for the Yves Rocher Foundation Photo Prize

  • If you are a professional photojournalist whose work focuses on environmental issues, the relationship between humans and the earth, or the challenges of sustainable development, this is your chance to shine.
  • Fluency in French or English is required for this opportunity.

Requirements of the Yves Rocher Foundation Photo Prize

  • To apply, simply submit your application through the WIIN platform. The application should include a curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing your photo essay project (maximum 1 page), and a provisional budget for funding the project. Please note that the cover letter should not reveal your identity.
  • Additionally, include a photo essay consisting of 12 to 20 images in black and white or color, along with any relevant scans from publications. Don’t forget to provide a copy of your identity document and a sworn statement confirming your status as a photojournalist.
  • Ensure that the photographs meet the following criteria: they should be in JPEG format, with completed IPTC fields (captions and copyright) and a PDF file of the captions. Each image should not exceed 3 MB in file size and must be named and numbered according to the desired order of projection for the jury.
