Applications open for the 2024 iF Social Impact Prize (EUR 100,000 prize money)

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 iF Social Impact Prize. This prestigious prize aims to support projects that make a positive impact on our society. If your project aligns with one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, you are eligible to apply.

The application process is completely free of charge. Each year, iF Design donates EUR 100,000 to support the best projects submitted to the iF Social Impact Prize. Your project should already be established, and you can apply with the same project a maximum of two times. Please note that student concepts will not be accepted.

We welcome submissions from companies, design studios, NGOs, foundations, public and other organizations, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs. However, student concepts cannot be accepted.

By participating in the iF Social Impact Prize, your project will have the opportunity to:

1. Compete for a share of EUR 100,000 in prize money.
2. Be published on our iF Design Website.
3. Be introduced to a global design community, the design interested public, and media.
4. Receive an individual Winner Certificate if selected by the jury.

The prize money of EUR 100,000 will be donated by iF and can be awarded to one project or split between several projects. In April and October 2024, a jury panel will decide the recipients of the iF Social Impact Prize and divide the prize money accordingly.

Please take note of the following timeline:

– The iF Social Impact Prize will be decided twice a year.
– The deadline for the first selection is 24 April 2024.
– The deadline for the second selection is October 2024.
