Applications now open for the YouthConnekt Export Accelerator Program

Applications are currently open for the 2024 YouthConnekt Export Accelerator Program. This initiative, a collaboration between YouthConnekt Africa and UNDP, aims to empower 300 youth-owned enterprises throughout Africa by equipping them with essential tools, resources, and support to successfully enter and thrive in both regional and global markets. Young individuals from the following countries are eligible to apply: Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Gabon, Guinea, Liberia, Madagascar, Mauritania, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Building upon the successful groundwork established since its launch, the program aspires to enhance Africa’s economic environment by utilizing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to foster a dynamic marketplace for innovative “Made in Africa” products and services.

The key objectives of the YouthConnekt Africa Export Accelerator 2024 include:

– Identifying and Supporting Export-Ready Enterprises: Selecting high-growth enterprises owned by youth and women that are prepared to expand into new markets.
– Capacity Building for Export Readiness: Providing enterprises with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective market entry and growth.
– Facilitating Market Access and Investment: Connecting enterprises with investment opportunities and aiding their access to regional and global markets.
