Applications are currently open for the Chevron Nigeria Internship Program. Chevron Nigeria Limited (“CNL”) is a prominent integrated energy firm that operates in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. CNL’s internship initiative is part of Chevron’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and its support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme. This program offers valuable learning experiences for Nigerian students who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees. It is structured to help students build and showcase their technical expertise, acquire new skills, and make meaningful contributions in a professional setting.
As an intern, you will engage in a variety of assignments that align with your field of study and/or research interests. You will be accountable to a supervisor who will delegate daily tasks and monitor your progress and development.
This program provides essential industry and functional insights through practical experience, mentorship, learning from seasoned professionals at the company, and other specially curated opportunities.
Eligibility – Chevron Nigeria Internship Program
- The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or overseas.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a graduate degree. This could be a Bachelor’s, National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma.
- Industry experience must be a requirement to complete your program.
Requirements – Chevron Nigeria Internship Program
- Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
- The internship has a minimum duration of 3 months with a maximum of 12 months as applicable.
- All applications must be submitted online through the application portal.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- All applicants will go through a shortlisting process which will include aptitude tests. Selections will be strictly based on performance and available space.
