Application period for the Echoing Green Fellowship Program is now open
The application period for the 2024 Echoing Green Fellowship Program is now open. Echoing Green is dedicated to empowering courageous leaders from around the globe who recognize opportunities amidst the most pressing challenges of our time. Our collective aim is to create a future devoid of racism and its extensive repercussions, where every individual can flourish.
This Fellowship is intended for individuals whose initiatives are in the early stages and who possess expertise in the challenges they aim to address. We are in search of leaders who mirror the communities they serve and who integrate profound understanding of the issues into their efforts as they collaboratively design solutions with and for their communities. Through the Echoing Green Fellowship, we identify innovators, mobilizers, community organizers, and advocates for social justice who are devising significant plans to improve the world. Echoing Green will assist them in amplifying their impact by providing access to the necessary tools, resources, and networks to actualize their visions.
Eligibility Criteria for Application – Echoing Green Fellowship Program
Will you be at least 18 years old when you commence the Fellowship?
Applicants for the Echoing Green Fellowship must be 18 years of age or older by June 1, 2025.
Are you proficient in English communication?
To qualify for the Fellowship and to engage fully in the programming and support services, applicants must be able to communicate proficiently in English. All support provided during the Echoing Green Fellowship will be in English. It is important to note that reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure the full participation of individuals with visual, hearing, or speech impairments.
Eligibility Criteria for Organizations – Echoing Green Fellowship Program
Does your proposed organization have a parent organization?
Organizations that operate independently but have fiscal sponsors are eligible for the Echoing Green Fellowship, provided that the fiscal sponsor does not exert authority over the organization’s operations and decision-making.
Does your proposed organization function independently and autonomously from its parent organization?
To qualify for an Echoing Green Fellowship, it is essential that you possess the ability to make and implement organizational decisions independently. If your proposed organization is overseen or influenced by other organizations or entities that hold decision-making power, you may not meet the eligibility criteria. However, independent organizations that have fiscal sponsors may still qualify, provided that the fiscal sponsor does not exert control over the organization’s operations and decision-making processes.
