YSE Global, also known as The Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) Global, is a six-month program sponsored by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) that aims to inspire, equip, and empower young individuals from various nationalities to establish or expand their social enterprises in Singapore and other locations.

Since its inception in 2010, YSE Global has fostered a community of young changemakers with innovative business concepts that prioritize social impact. By collaborating with established social entrepreneurs, business consultants, and investors, we leverage the power of ideas, expertise, and resources to drive positive change and create a better world.

Benefits:

1. Access to an international ecosystem comprising investors, industry experts, experienced mentors, and a diverse network of over 1,400 young changemakers from 43 different nationalities.
2. Inspiration from leading social innovation trends and market insights in the region.
3. Shortlisted teams have the opportunity to receive funding of up to S$20,000 to kickstart or expand their social enterprises.

Our Impact:

1. Over the period of 2010 to March 2023, we have awarded grant funding totaling S$1,030,000 to 59 social enterprises.
2. An impressive 86% of grant winners have continued their operations.
3. 75% of social enterprises have progressed from the seed stage to the startup stage and beyond, thanks to their participation in YSE Global.
4. 94% of our alumni have experienced an expansion of their professional networks through their involvement in YSE Global.
5. Our alumni collectively generate employment opportunities worth S$2 million annually.
6. The Social Return on Investment (SROI) for every S$1 invested in YSE Global is S$3.91, demonstrating the program’s significant impact.
