Voice1Africa & Sound Mind Buildup Entrepreneurship Development Program for Africa 2024 (Up to $300 Grant)
The Entrepreneurship Development Program for Africa was launched in 2021 by Voice1Africa and Sound Mind Buildup. Its main objective is to provide training and financial empowerment to young African entrepreneurs. This program aims to create an environment where African entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and do business together, ultimately contributing to the development of a connected Africa.
By participating in this program, entrepreneurs will not only benefit financially but also have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals across the African continent. Additionally, they will be able to expand their market and open their businesses to other parts of Africa.
One of the long-term goals of this program is to maximize the potential of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement. This agreement is set to create the largest free trade area in the world, involving 55 African countries and connecting 1.3 billion people. The combined gross domestic product (GDP) of these countries is valued at US$3.4 trillion.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for this program, applicants must be between 18 to 35 years old and
- already engaged in business on the African continent or have the intention to start one.
