UNAOC INTERCULTURAL INNOVATION HUB 2024 CALL FOR GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS WORLDWIDE ($20,000 GRANT)

The Intercultural Innovation Hub (IIH) serves as a platform for connecting individuals from different cultures and backgrounds, while also empowering grassroots organizations. Our goal is to elevate and expand innovative approaches that contribute to creating inclusive societies. We are currently inviting grassroots organizations that promote intercultural dialogue, understanding, and social inclusion to apply for our comprehensive support program.

Through this program, selected organizations will receive assistance in expanding the impact of their projects. The Intercultural Innovation Hub will carefully select up to 10 projects that focus on addressing issues such as xenophobia, hate speech, violent extremism, gender equality, and the use of sport, art, and culture as tools for social change and inclusion. Additionally, we aim to build inclusive and cohesive societies.

UNAOC INTERCULTURAL INNOVATION HUB 2024 CALL FOR GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS WORLDWIDE Eligibility

To be eligible for the Intercultural Innovation Hub, organizations must be not-for-profit and actively involved in implementing projects that promote intercultural dialogue and foster diverse and inclusive societies.

We encourage organizations to be open to expanding their range of action.

Examples of eligible projects include those that promote gender equality, prevent xenophobia, violent extremism, and hate speech, utilize sport, art, and culture for social change and inclusion, support the LGBTQI+ community, champion gender diversity, and advocate for disability rights and inclusion.

Please note that the Intercultural Innovation Hub does not provide support for one-time events such as festivals, conferences, or similar activities.

Benefits Chosen recipients will be provided with:

1. Financial assistance for sustainable expansion: Each finalist will be granted up to USD 20,000 to enhance the sustainability of their project and expedite the impact of their efforts.

2. Year-long program for enhancing capabilities: Selected recipients will also gain from a year-long series of workshops aimed at building their capacities, tailored support, and personalized mentoring offered by UNAOC and the BMW Group, with the assistance of Accenture.

3. Access and membership to a global platform for leadership: Recipients will have the opportunity to broaden their spheres of influence, collaborate with other agents of change, and participate in regional and international events by becoming part of a global network of leaders.

• Innovative projects that champion diversity, integration, and social inclusion will be chosen to expand their impact and achieve sustainable growth.
• Participants of the Hub will receive a financial grant of up to USD 20,000, along with a comprehensive program for building capacities, international workshops, customized support and mentorship, and exclusive membership to a global platform.
