The Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF) Program
The Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF) Program is an innovative project aimed at empowering and honoring women who are at the forefront of the African food and agriculture industry. Spanning across six months, this program offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and a nurturing community for exceptional female change-makers, business owners, policymakers, culinary experts, influencers, and storytellers. LAWFF is dedicated to promoting gender equality, making significant contributions to poverty alleviation, and fostering sustainable economic development, all in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Eligibility
- Women only
- Ages 25-40 years
- At least three years experience working in the agri-food sector
- Demonstrable impact
- A citizen of an African country
- Resident in an African country at the time of application
- We accept nominations from across the African continent. Our goal is to be inclusive and celebrate the diversity of women in the food industry.
