Applications are currently being accepted for the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals for Masters Level Studies in Sweden for the academic year 2024/2025. This opportunity is open to individuals who are interested in contributing to the sustainable development of their home country and region, as well as those seeking an international experience. The Swedish Institute offers academic scholarships for master’s studies to professionals from 41 different countries.

The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals provides funding for full-time, one- or two-year master’s programs in Sweden. It covers a wide range of study fields and includes over 700 of the 1000 English-taught master’s programs available in the country.

The main objective of this scholarship is to create a network of future global leaders who will actively contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and drive progress in their respective home countries.

Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals for Masters Level Studies in Sweden ELIGIBILITY

• To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a citizen of one of the 41 eligible countries,
• apply for a master’s program that is eligible for the SI scholarship,
• be liable to pay tuition fees at a Swedish university,
• and have demonstrated work and leadership experience either through your current or previous employer, or through civil society engagement.

Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals for Masters Level Studies in Sweden CRITERIA

• Please note that the scholarship is only available for master’s studies starting in the autumn semester and applications are accepted once a year.
• The deadline for application is March 30, 2023.
• Work experience must be demonstrated, with certain conditions applying to specific regions. Additionally, leadership experience must be demonstrated from either your current or previous employer, or from engagement in civil society.

• The Scholarship for Global Professionals is a highly competitive fully-funded scholarship that offers several benefits.

• a monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 to cover living expenses,
