We recognize the importance of early career talents in our community. The Early Careers Programme offers an exciting opportunity for participants to gain practical experience, contribute fresh ideas, and immerse themselves in the work of the Forum.
Our positions are particularly suitable for graduates of bachelor’s and master’s programs, with 1-2 years of professional experience.
Conditions and Benefits of the World Economic Forum Early Careers Program fall 2024 cohort
– Full-time employment contract for 6 months at one of our World Economic Forum offices in Geneva, Mumbai, or Beijing.
– Programme start dates available between October 1 and October 31, 2024.
– Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4500 (including salary and medical allowance) / INR 91600 (salary) / CNY 12500 (salary).

What you will be doing: World Economic Forum Early Careers Program fall 2024 cohort
Participating in our Early Careers Programme will give you the chance to work in specific functional areas, gaining practical experience and contributing to impactful projects. Throughout the programme, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals and develop a diverse skill set that can propel your career forward.
Here are the various functional areas where you can work and enhance your expertise:
– Community and stakeholder management: Engage and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders, utilizing different communication platforms and activities to ensure effective collaboration.
– Project, content, and policy management: Responsible for research, project coordination, and content creation to support various strategic initiatives, partnerships, or regional and industry contexts.
– Marketing and communications: Focused on strategically promoting Forum and Centre initiatives and engaging global audiences through impactful content.
– Data and analytics: Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed decision-making and strategic planning for Forum and Centre initiatives, or to aid in the development of research and flagship reports.
– Technology innovation and digital success: Spearhead the development and implementation of technologies and digital strategies to enhance the Forum’s initiatives and maximize the impact of global collaboration.
– Events programming and management: Design, coordinate, and execute global Forum events, ensuring they facilitate and promote effective dialogue, collaboration, and agendas.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to utilize and enhance these practical skills in one of our specialized areas, such as:
– Forum Centers (Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, Energy and Materials, Financial and Monetary Systems, Health and Healthcare, Nature and Climate, Regions Trade and Geopolitics, Fourth Industrial Revolution, New Economy and Society, Urban Transformation)
– Engagement with industry and the private sector – responsible for promoting collaboration among industry partners, facilitating the exchange of insights and strategies to influence global, regional, and industry agendas
– Business growth and account management – overseeing partner relationships and driving the growth of portfolios and accounts by aligning the Forum’s goals with partner capabilities and interests
– Organizational support (Finance, IT, People & Culture, Public Affairs, etc)
