RecycleUp Nigeria – Call for Applications

RecycleUp Nigeria is a program that aims to empower and support young innovators and entrepreneurs who are environmentally conscious. It provides them with the necessary knowledge, resources, and support to address Nigeria’s waste problem and promote a circular economy.

This initiative takes a comprehensive approach to tackle environmental challenges while also creating opportunities for entrepreneurship, employment, and sustainable development. By doing so, it contributes to a cleaner, more prosperous, and environmentally responsible nation. The program is specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals who are interested in developing circular economy solutions and promoting sustainable development.

RecycleUp Nigeria has set a target to drive the transition towards a circular economy in Nigeria by 200% by 2025. It focuses on key sectors such as the:

• Built Environment,
• Organic Material and Biowaste,
• Energy,
• Electronics and ICT,
• Packaging and Plastics,
• Textiles,
• Water,
• Food and Agriculture.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity for Nigerian youths to gain essential knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in the field of circular economy and sustainable waste management.

Please note that successful applicants will be accepted into the program and enrolled by March 2024.

RecycleUp Nigeria Eligibility Requirements:

Before proceeding with your application for this program, please take note of the following criteria:

1. Age: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens between the ages of 21 and 40.

2. Interest and Passion: Applicants should have a genuine interest and passion for the concept of circular economy and a strong desire to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development in Nigeria.

3. Leadership Potential: Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their respective communities.

4. Time Commitment: Applicants must be ready to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week and be available to actively participate in the program.

5. Technology Requirements: Applicants must have access to a reliable internet connection, data, and necessary technology devices in order to fully participate in virtual activities and meetings.

RecycleUp Nigeria benefits of the Program:
