Discover the stages of the Hult Prize Challenge 2024 year-long, global competition that empowers young individuals to tackle the world’s most urgent challenges through innovative social ventures.

Steps 1&2: Qualifiers: November – February
During this phase, the Hult Prize competition kicks off with the OnCampus Program and the Open Application. Campus Directors, who are student volunteers, organize training programs and community events at their universities, focusing on the specific challenge of the year. Winning teams from the OnCampus programs will represent their universities at our Summits. Alternatively, teams can directly apply through our Open Application. Out of the 20,000 teams, only 900 will be chosen to advance to the next round.

Step 3: Summits: June
In 2024, the Hult Prize will host exhilarating in-person Global Summits in eight cities across the globe. Thousands of competitors will have the opportunity to pitch their social venture ideas to panels of experts. The winning teams from each Summit, along with four additional startups selected through the Second Chance Round, will secure a spot at the prestigious Global Accelerator.

Step 4: Global Accelerator: July – August
During July, our 12 semi-finalist teams will collaborate with Hult Prize mentors and engage in curated curricula to refine their pitches and further develop their businesses. In August, they will embark on an exciting journey to London, UK, for our Global Accelerator. Over the course of two weeks, they will work closely with world-class experts and coaches, gaining invaluable insights. At the end of this transformative experience, six teams will be chosen to participate in our highly anticipated Global Finals!

Step 5: Global Finals: September
The pinnacle of the competition, the Global Finals, is where the six remaining teams showcase their exceptional social ventures to a panel of distinguished judges. Each team aspires to be selected as the next recipient of the prestigious US $1,000,000 Hult Prize. Don’t miss the chance to witness the excitement of the Hult Prize Global Finals 2023 – Live from L’Élysée Montmartre in Paris, France.

The 2023/2024 Hult Prize program cycle is now in full swing, and we’re thrilled to invite you to kickstart your journey by completing the interest form below. Whether you’re a part of a local competition or applying through the open application, it’s essential for all startups to fill out this form.

Every year, Hult Prize empowers students from all corners of the globe to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit and create impactful startups. By joining our exclusive global community of student entrepreneurs, mentors, and industry experts, you’ll have the opportunity to compete in our Global Finals, where you can vie for $1M in funding to turn your groundbreaking ideas into reality.

Whether you’re ready to take your existing startup to new heights or you’re brimming with inspiration to build a fresh business from scratch, we warmly welcome you to participate.

Here are the basic eligibility requirements:

1. You must currently be enrolled as a student in a degree-seeking program.
2. Teams should consist of 3 to 5 members. All team members must be from the same university, with the option to include one member from a different university.
3. You must be at least 18 years old to compete.
