The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program provides a residency opportunity for cultural practitioners from around the world, offering support and resources to facilitate their creative processes and collaborations.

The program extends its support beyond the residency period, assisting fellows in developing and presenting their work in various forms such as exhibitions, concerts, performances, film projects, readings, and publications. Collaborations with guests and partners lead to new creative endeavors that are showcased not only in Berlin but also in other cultural institutions throughout Germany and worldwide.

Requirements

The program is open to outstanding international artists in the fields of visual arts, film, literature, and music & sound, regardless of age or academic background, as long as they critically engage with historical issues and contemporary discourses.
