The LEAP Africa Social Innovators Programme is dedicated to empowering and promoting youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa by providing training, funding, and networking opportunities to support the sustainability of social entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply in the areas of quality education, healthcare, affordable and clean energy, climate action, agriculture, technology, gender & social inclusion, and workforce development. For more details, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.

Eligibility Criteria: LEAP Africa Social Innovators Program For Entrepreneurs in Africa

1. SIP fellows must be aged between 18 and 35.
2. Fellows must be citizens of Africa or Nigeria as required by the funder.
3. Fellows must hold a key role in the social enterprise (Founder, ED, Co-Founder).
4. Enterprises must focus on the specified impact areas or have a significant positive impact on communities or the environment.
5. Enterprises must demonstrate a measurable positive impact on communities or the environment.
6. Fellows must clearly outline social outcomes and understand the target beneficiaries.
7. Fellows should be in the early to mid-stage of their enterprise (2-5 years) with potential for growth and scalability, requiring support for financing and capacity-building.
8. Fellows must be willing to fully engage in the fellowship, attending all workshops, mentorship sessions, and other activities.

9. The Aspiring Fellows Enterprise is a purpose-driven social enterprise, with a focus on creating a sustainable impact on the community they are dedicated to serving.
