Nigeria Prize for Science Eligibility

• To be eligible for the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) Prize for Science Award, the applicants must meet certain criteria.
• The award is open to scientists and innovators worldwide, regardless of their nationality.
• However, members of the Advisory Board or Panel of Judges, as well as their relatives, are not allowed to enter their works for the Science Prize during their year of service and the following year.
• Additionally, Nigeria LNG Limited staff and their family members are ineligible to enter the prize during their years of service and five years post-service.
• The submitted work should demonstrate outstanding merit and have contributed to the advancement of knowledge or provided an innovative technology for reducing the effects of climate change.
• It should be a completed scientific work, supported by either a proof of concept or tangible societal impact.
• Each individual or group can only submit one entry, and all supporting materials must be submitted within the specified timeframe.

• In addition to individual submissions, collaborative works involving two or more individuals are also encouraged, as long as they provide the most relevant and effective solution to a specified problem that benefits Nigeria.
