Employment Type: Contract
Duration of Work: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Senior Programme Manager – Kalthum Foundation for Peace Job Summary

The primary responsibilities include overseeing and monitoring projects within the state, providing monthly reports, and ensuring adherence to the organization’s policies and protocols.

Functionsn – Senior Programme Manager – Kalthum Foundation for Peace

1. Supervise, coordinate, and oversee the Rural Medical Intervention Project otherwise known as the RUMEDI project.
2. Ensure compliance with the MoU by Kalthum Foundation for Peace (KFP).
3. Guarantee the safety of all field staff.
4. Maintain and uphold efficiency and diligence in the project.
5. Ensure fiscal discipline in the utilization of financial resources.
6. Submit monthly Rural Medical Intervention Project (RUMEDI) operations reports to MSF, covering essential updates on the context, such as security, demographics, epidemiological, and nutrition surveillance.
7. Manage and coordinate all media and PR issues related to the RUMEDI project in consultation with MSF’s Intersectional Communication Manager for Nigeria.
8. Act as the spokesperson and representative of the RUMEDI project to MSF.

Qualifications and Requirements: Senior Programme Manager – Kalthum Foundation for Peace

– A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing similar projects.
– Proficiency in speaking Hausa and/or Kanuri.
– Familiarity with the INGO community.
