Programmes Manager at Climate Action Africa Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Strategic Planning

– Take the lead in developing new programs that align with the organization’s strategic direction.
– Establish and manage long-term goals to ensure program sustainability and impact.
– Devise comprehensive strategies to attract funding from multilateral and multinational institutions, regional and international donors, as well as corporate organizations.

2. Budget Management and Funding

– Develop and oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
– Identify and pursue funding opportunities, leading efforts in grant proposal development to secure financial support.

3. Partnership and Relationship Management

– Foster and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and other key stakeholders, promoting productive collaboration and partnership.
– Play a crucial role in revenue generation by prospecting potential donors, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and achieving successful funding outcomes.
– Develop innovative strategies to retain partners, including conducting interviews to gather feedback and incorporating it into the organization’s growth plan.

4. Program Implementation and Evaluation

– Oversee the entire program lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring effective delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

5. Leadership and Representation

Take on extra duties and roles as directed by the COO and management to fulfill the hub’s objectives and targets.

6. Adherence to Policies and Reporting
