Internship Opportunity: Global Solutions Initiative Foundation for Young Global Changers Program

The Global Solutions Initiative Foundation (GSIF) is currently offering a 5-month paid internship through the Young Global Changers Program. This internship, which will commence on March 1st, 2024, is located in Berlin-Mitte (Alexanderplatz) and presents a unique opportunity for students to acquire valuable work experience in various areas such as global community management, alumni engagement, youth involvement, and international policy-making.

The Young Global Changers Program encompasses a network of approximately 500 young individuals from around the world who are dedicated to driving positive change within their communities. One of the program’s main highlights is the Young Global Changers Recoupling Award, which identifies and acknowledges young changemakers who actively contribute to aligning economic prosperity with environmental and societal sustainability.

Internship Details:

– Employment Type: Paid Internship (30 hours per week)
– Duration: 5 months
– Location: Berlin-Mitte (Alexanderplatz)
– Starting Date: March 1st, 2024

Throughout the internship, participants will be involved in global community management, alumni engagement, and conference planning. There will be a particular emphasis on international forums such as the G20 and G7. Responsibilities will include managing and supporting the global community of changemakers, acting as a point of contact for Young Global Changers attending the Global Solutions Summit, and assisting with travel and visa arrangements.

Qualifications Required:

– Must be currently enrolled in university throughout the internship.
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent English language skills (knowledge of German is a plus).
– Previous experience in alumni or community management is advantageous.
– Demonstrated willingness and commitment to supporting a global community of young changemakers.
