Gered Gereedschap, a Dutch NGO, has been dedicated to supporting craftsmen and women in developing countries for the past 40 years. Our projects in Africa focus on strengthening technical vocational education and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to promote technical craftsmanship as a means of achieving self-reliance. How to Apply for Support
To apply for support, we work with local partners in Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, and Ghana. We welcome applications from organizations that promote vocational education and entrepreneurship and will benefit from our help. We also actively seek out (international) organizations for cooperation. Our preference is to support vocational training programs and projects that meet the demand of the local (labour) market. We also prioritize projects that promote entrepreneurship, offer further support to young people after their training, and are gender-oriented, aimed at marginalized groups, cooperatives, ecological awareness, and environmental protection.
