FINISH Mondial Annual Sanitation Hackathon (SanTech hackathon) – €5,000 prize calls for entries

Utilize your creative abilities and expertise to pioneer groundbreaking technologies that will contribute to a sustainable future. Our FINISH Mondial Annual Sanitation Hackathon (SanTech hackathon) is back for its fourth year, and this time we are addressing the challenges of greywater recycling for sustainable agriculture and kitchen gardening.

The objective of the “Greywater Recycling for Sustainable Agriculture and Kitchen Gardening” hackathon is to encourage technological innovation and provide solutions for the treatment and recycling of greywater from households. These solutions will support sustainable agriculture and kitchen gardening practices. Greywater, which typically consists of wastewater from sinks, showers, laundry, and baths, can be a valuable resource when treated properly. By repurposing it for irrigation, we can reduce water wastage and minimize the need for freshwater in agriculture.

This year’s Hackathon will focus on four key areas: Grey Water Treatment Technologies, Smart Irrigation Systems, Sensor and Monitoring Solutions, and Community Engagement and Education. Join us in this exciting event as we work together to develop sustainable solutions for a better future.

Key Areas of Focus:

Participants in this hackathon can choose from the following key areas of focus:

  • Greywater Treatment Technologies
  • Smart Irrigation Systems
