The Road to Growth Programme aims to empower women entrepreneurs in low and middle-income countries by providing them with essential business skills, financial literacy, networking opportunities, and the confidence necessary for achieving business expansion.

The FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program For Females Entrepreneurs in Ogun State is a comprehensive 7-week hybrid initiative, requiring participants to dedicate 8-10 hours weekly across various platforms, including the Learning Management System (LMS), virtual class sessions, WhatsApp group discussions, and in-person meetings, all facilitated by innovative classroom management tools. The FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program For Females Entrepreneurs in Ogun State curriculum has been meticulously crafted to provide a comprehensive array of courses that encompass all essential tools required for the successful establishment and management of a business. Upon completion of the training, participants will acquire the requisite knowledge, skills, attitudes, and confidence necessary to expand their enterprises and seek appropriate financial services.

The curriculum is rigorous and encompasses the following primary learning objectives:

– Identifying key elements of a business growth plan
– Conducting market segmentation and analysis
– Recognizing critical factors in sales forecasting
– Analyzing elements that influence a business’s cash flow

ELIGIBILITY – FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program For Females Entrepreneurs in Ogun State

Women entrepreneurs who:

1. Own at least 50% of the business in Nigeria
2. Have a business that has generated profit for at least 2 years
3. Have 3-49 employees
4. Be able to read and write
5. Have Basic computer literacy
6. Be able to read and write English
7. Have had no previous access to loans and have a need for additional investment

APPLICATION PROCESS – FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program For Females Entrepreneurs in Ogun State

Stage I: Prospective candidates are invited to submit their applications via the Apply Button on our Application Platform (SOAR).

Stage II: After a thorough evaluation of all submitted applications, a selection of candidates will be invited for a 10-minute phone or video interview. From this process, 40 applicants will be chosen for the Ogun cohort of the program.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and other partners, the FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program For Females Entrepreneurs in Ogun State is offered at no cost to all entrepreneurs who successfully navigate the two application stages. This scholarship encompasses all direct course expenses, including course materials, books, data support, and assistance following the program.

This training is conducted in a hybrid format, and it is essential that each entrepreneur enrolled in the program resides in the location or state corresponding to their application. This residency requirement will be confirmed during the shortlisting and selection process.
