1. To be eligible for the Global Scholarships, there are certain criteria that must be met.
2. Firstly, applicants must not be eligible to apply through any existing Rhodes constituency.
3. If you have a strong connection to a Rhodes constituency but do not meet their eligibility requirements, you may consider interjurisdictional consideration instead of applying for the Global Scholarship.
4. In terms of age, there are two options for eligibility. Option one requires applicants to be between the ages of 18 and 23 on October 1, 2024. This means that they must have been born after October 1, 2000, and before October 2, 2006.
5. Option two is for older candidates who completed their first undergraduate degree later than usual. For this option, applicants must be under the age of 27 on October 1, 2024, and have completed their first undergraduate degree on or after October 1, 2023.

Scholarship Value: 2025 Rhodes Global Scholarships

1. The Rhodes Scholarship includes coverage of Oxford University course fees, along with an annual stipend. For the academic year 2023/24, the stipend amounts to £19,092 per annum (£1,591 per month), which Scholars utilize to cover all living expenses, including accommodation. It is important to note that this amount is not adequate to support partners or dependents.
2. Upon being selected for the Scholarship, the Rhodes Trust will take care of the fee necessary for applying to study at the University of Oxford. Additionally, the Trust will cover the fee for a student visa and the associated International Health Surcharge (IHS), which allows international students to access the UK’s National Health Service. Furthermore, the Rhodes Trust will provide coverage for two economy class flights – to and from the UK – for the commencement and conclusion of studies in Oxford.
3. Upon arrival in Oxford, Scholars will receive a settling-in allowance. For Scholars transitioning to a second course of study in Oxford, they will once again receive assistance to cover the visa renewal fee and the subsequent application for IHS.

Academic Requirements: 2025 Rhodes Global Scholarships

1. Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree (typically a Bachelor’s) by July 2025, and they must possess an academic background and grade that meets or exceeds the specific entry requirements of their chosen course at the University of Oxford.

Application: 2025 Rhodes Global Scholarships

1. To be considered for the Rhodes Scholarship, you must ensure that you complete and submit the online application form by 23:59 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on 01 August 2024.
2. There is no fee associated with submitting the Rhodes Scholarship application form. However, it is crucial that you submit your application online before the specified deadline, as no other form of application will be accepted. It is recommended that you apply for the Rhodes Scholarship prior to applying for your desired course at the University of Oxford.

Successful candidates for the Rhodes Scholarship will need to proceed with applying for their chosen course by utilizing the University of Oxford’s graduate application form, with guidance provided by the Rhodes House team. In the event that your initial application for the Rhodes Scholarship is unsuccessful, you may re-apply once more (within the same constituency) provided you meet the eligibility requirements.
