The NewNow initiative is a program under One Young World, backed by Virgin Unite, aimed at empowering the most courageous emerging young leaders to transform the global approach to leadership by utilizing systems-thinking and collective action to drive change.
Eligibility Criteria – NewNow’s One Young World Program backed by Virgin Unite
Candidates must:
– Be between the ages of 18 and 30
– Be citizens of countries located in the Global South
– Have a proven record of effective leadership through impactful initiatives
– Possess a strong understanding of significant local and/or global issues, particularly those that necessitate systems-thinking strategies
– Demonstrate a successful history of applying systems-thinking principles to create innovative, sustainable, and long-term impacts
– Provide evidence of their effectiveness in tackling complex challenges through systems thinking
– Exhibit a commitment to collaborate with The NewNow cohort and promote successful instances of systems change through their networks and media platforms

Participants in The NewNow program will receive:
