Entries now open for the NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2025/2026 NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program. This marks the twenty-fourth consecutive year that NVIDIA has encouraged PhD students to present their research projects for evaluation. Selection of recipients is based on academic performance, nominations from professors, and the specific research area.

Eligibility Criteria – NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program

1. Applicants for the NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program  must have completed their first year of PhD studies by the time of application.
2. Candidates should have a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
3. Applicants must be actively engaged in research related to their PhD thesis.
4. Students must be enrolled as full-time PhD candidates during the 2025-2026 academic year (9 months) of the fellowship, meaning they should not anticipate graduating before May or June 2026.
5. Candidates must be available to undertake an in-person summer internship at one of NVIDIA’s research facilities located in the United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan prior to the commencement of their fellowship year.
6. Immediate family members of current NVIDIA employees are ineligible to apply.
7. Please note that the fellowship must be administered through the applicant’s university; funds will be disbursed to the university rather than directly to the student.

1. NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program Applications Should Include:
2. A research summary or thesis proposal, limited to 2 pages, along with a bibliography (the bibliography does not count towards the 2-page limit).
3. A resume or curriculum vitae (CV) that includes contact details.
4. A minimum of two professor nomination letters (one must be from the thesis advisor), with a maximum of three letters allowed. Nominations from non-professors are acceptable, provided there is at least one from the thesis advisor or professor.
5. Confirmation of the applicant’s availability for an in-person summer internship.
