ProvidusBank, in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Centre, has established the ProvidusBank SME Program with the aim of enhancing the skills and competencies of business owners in Nigeria. The program is geared towards assisting participants in developing long-term strategic plans to drive profitability and transform their businesses.

1. Formulate a growth strategy for their businesses
2. Enhance the leadership capabilities of participants to effectively manage their teams
3. Clearly articulate the value proposition of their businesses
4. Implement frameworks that ensure sustainable growth
5. Develop a comprehensive ‘go-to-market’ strategy for their products and services
6. Receive personalized business advisory to tackle company-specific challenges

EDC, ProvidusBank SME Program Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– The business owner must be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident
– The business must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria
– The business must be a for-profit entity operating in any sector
– The applicant must be willing to commit to the training schedule upon acceptance
– The business must have been operational for a minimum of 5 years
– The business must have a sales/turnover of at least 25 – 50 million naira
– Maintain financial records.
