Casa África XIV Photography Contest “Africa Objective”: Public spaces in Africa call for Application
Casa África Photography Contest, “Africa Objective” which aims to recognize and promote the positive aspects of the African continent in the realm of biodiversity. This year’s theme focuses on showcasing the rich biodiversity of Africa and its importance for the continent and the planet as a whole. The competition also encourages participants to explore the topics of climate change and its economic and social impact from a sustainability perspective. Furthermore, the photographs should adopt an optimistic approach, challenging the stereotypes that have long defined Africa.
The deadline for submitting applications and photographs is 2nd May 2024 at 14:00 hours (GMT +0).
Participants are allowed to submit a maximum of five (5) photographs online through the MundoArti platform. The photographs must be in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and a file size ranging from 1 to 5 MB.
A distinguished panel of professionals in the arts field will serve as the jury, evaluating the creativity, innovative techniques, and the effectiveness of the message conveyed in the photographs. The description and title of each photograph will also be considered based on these criteria.
