The HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator, powered by gener8tor, is a program that brings together innovative agriculture technology startups and provides them with the necessary support to succeed. Situated in Huntsville, AL, also known as Rocket City and conveniently located near NASA, this program offers coaching, funding, and valuable connections to help these startups grow and expand their businesses.

The HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator, powered by gener8tor, is a collaboration between HudsonAlpha, a leader in agriscience, and gener8tor, a network of mentors and investors. With the support of Huntsville’s reputation as a technology hub, this program offers startups a unique opportunity to address the global challenges of sustainable food production and energy generation.

Benefits

• Startups from anywhere in the world, working on any aspect of agriculture, are encouraged to apply to the AgTech Accelerator. Accepted startups will receive a $100K cash investment, office space, and access to gener8tor’s global network of mentors and investors.
• Benefits Investment – Selected teams will be granted a $100,000 investment in return for 7.5% equity in your company through the utilization of a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE).
• Cohort Programming – Each week, we offer cohort programming that encompasses a wide range of topics, including comprehending market size, choosing a revenue model, and perfecting the art of presenting to potential investors.
• $1M+ in Deals & Perks – We provide exceptional deals and perks from renowned vendors such as IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot, and Microsoft. Mentorship, Coaching & One-on-One Meetings –
• Throughout the twelve-week program, you will receive personalized coaching and mentorship from our experienced gener8tor team.
• Additionally, we will arrange bi-weekly one-on-one meetings where you can gain valuable insights from our extensive network of over 100 connections, including accomplished entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors. Office Space –
• As a participant, you will become an integral part of the thriving HudsonAlpha ecosystem and gain access to cutting-edge facilities spread across the 152-acre biotech campus.

Eligibility Criteria

• Who can apply for the program? Startups from any corner of the globe that are involved in agricultural innovation are encouraged to apply.
• Relocation Requirements Is relocation mandatory? To fully leverage the benefits of the program and the local ecosystem, it is necessary to relocate to Huntsville, AL for the entire duration of the program.
• Participation Options Can teams choose their mode of participation? Teams are required to participate in-person for the program.
• Investment Terms What are the conditions for the $100,000 investment? If your team is chosen, you will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity in your company through a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE). Application
