Objective of the ShowcaseHER Export Readiness Training Program for African female Entrepreneurs

1. Its main objective is to equip Women-led Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (WSMEs) with the necessary skills to participate effectively in cross-border trade and integrate into the international export value chains.
2. It focuses on empowering African women and girls through hands-on entrepreneurship training, capacity building, and access to business financing.
3. This program, which will commence on August 1st, 2024, aims to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the African Free Continental Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Content of the ShowcaseHER Export Readiness Training Program for African female Entrepreneurs

1. To ensure accessibility, the ShowcaseHER 6-month incubator program will be conducted online.
2. The ShowcaseHER program specifically targets WSMEs in Africa and offers a 6-month incubation program.
3. During this period, participants will receive training on export readiness and business digitization, access to trade finance, and mentorship support.
4. The ultimate goal is to enhance their capacity to engage in intra-African trade.

Requirements for the ShowcaseHER Export Readiness Training Program for African female Entrepreneurs

If you meet the following criteria, the ShowcaseHER incubator program is designed for you:

1. You are a registered SME operating in any African or Caribbean country. (Priority will be given to those in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Egypt).

2. You are currently exporting or have an interest in exporting your products.

3. You are looking to secure capital for business expansion and international trade.
